but does anyone have a mirror switch for a QV that works that they might want to get rid of? Or know where I can get one? Verell? Anyone? The circuit board on mine is broken and my driver's side mirror no longer works... Thanks!

Its a BMW switch with one of the ears clipped. I saw a thread a while back that told the part number. I'll go get the number off of mine tomorrow if you still need it.

I know it's a BMW part. I also know it's no longer readily available. Anyone have a source (Verell?) on where to get one? Or maybe (Mike Charness?) has one or 10 just laying around? :)

It should be available at your local BMW dealer. Just take the old switch to the parts counter and show it to them. You'll have the switch in a few days shipped over from Germany.

I found it!!!! Bavarian autosport had it for $39.95. Part number is 61311363459. It fits a BMW 320i, 6and 7 series to 82 and 5 series to 88.

That's a very good price for a new switch! Nice find (www.bavauto.com)!! It's good to see they're back in production. Believe it or not, they used to be manufactured by TRW for BMW... I've got a new-old-stock one here in an original ancient box. But they'd been unobtanium for several years so I'd been building a collection of good used ones just in case.
