    Andrew,

A voir.

    Salutations,

    Dominique

As far as I know (discussing this issue with somebody from Autonauser), the conversion was done by some specialist from Audi Ingolstat (!).
The body looks like a full GTE, the engine is not a real Michelotto one, good job, but not real michelotto conversion it seems.
This car was already presented in an auction, so we will see if Coys will succeed this time in Monaco.
Real price should be around 350 k€ to 400 K€ max, starting from an F40 stradale with the right engine and body conversion.
The only advantage of this car is the TÜV approval, imagine this car on the highway!

No this is a conversion (with maybe some Michelotto parts).
    Only 74045, 82404, 84503, 85015, 88779, 90001 and 94362 are real Michelotto F40 GTEs

Little "engine sound" movie of 74045 http://www.myvideo.de/watch/374956

    A bientot !

    Andrew

    Andrew,

just few words to confirm that my 88779 was a real GTE, not a stradale.
At Le Vigeant 2005, I was driving such car.
I was speaking about a stradale concerning the car that Marc Stanciu bought from Michel Mitharian few months ago. Marc is now refreshing it for Le Vigeant 2007. Still a stradale with some body and mecanic parts of an LM, few engine upgrades.
Finally, if Sheehan is no more promoting the LM on his web site, have a look on Maranello motorsport web site: still there! call them if you are interrested, price to be discussed depending on the final place of delivery, plane or boat transport,....There is also several other ways to find an LM or a GTE, the Pilot 74045 was sold few weeks ago it seems, for 750 000 USD.
Nota: I am a Ferrari France Owners Club member since few years.

    Dominique,

    A bientot !

    andrew,

Ryan, I got such info on Pilot 74045 from a well known Ferrari dealer and specialist (ex UK based, living in Australia now), as I was asking his advice to get an LM or GTE. To be confirmed.

It was one of the two very early converted F40s for racing. With some Michelotto parts. Cars were tuned by Cavallino Tuning, a guy (Peter van Erp) that I believe know works for Spyker Cars.
Both cars (80771 and 80778) we very active raced in the Dutch Ferrari Porshce Challenge early 90's.

I read a lot of speculation in this forum about this car, I will bring light in the
    speculation: www.ara-flug.de/bilder/ferrari/

Car builder is Ferrari with the cassis nr. 91979. Not Michelotto !
In the Europe and German street documents is still Ferrari the builder!
Only this way make the car realy legal on the street. But Ferrari gave only 750hp free for the street. So this car has 2 main units to switch for race, with more than 900 hp with a water sprinkling air cooler.
The first owner is a German Dr. in car building, still working for several car manufacturer. Ex working for Audi Motorsport at the time "Quattro S1". He bought ALL the Michelotto Parts from Michelotto and an expert team of race mechanic and engineers also BOSCH Motorsport and the extreme tuner from Lichtenstein, Lehmann, rebuild this car. Last modifikation 2006 was an new exhaust with new formula 1 materials from the same German company who built for two Formula 1 teams the exhausts. The new exhaust is able to run over catalisator and with a dipp - bypass direct open...

The chief from TÜV Augsburg by himself made all the modifikations legal in the documents.

This car with a privat driver was second in Ferrari Challange Europe, which year, I dont know, maybe some people in the forum remember, and hold the round record in Monza befor rebuilt the race track.

I drove the car from Monaco to Ingolstadt full throttl- unbelivable power and the engine got only 78 degrees water and 84 degrees oil temperature...
The most powerfull car I have ever seen..
The car is looking for a new owner, because the old ownwer is going to Bahamas and can't use it anymore.

    The technical specification:
    Engine: F120 AB 000 29476 V8 Turbo with MP 1.8 Bosch
