A modern IVECO truck is probably easier to drive than a Daytona. Power steering, push button trans, air suspension, truckies these days are just big girlies! (but don't tell one I said that)

I've done more than my fair share of spinning and am too old and responsible to risk going around corners at more than 7/10ths these days. I'd probably get whooped by a BB anyway, they have all that extra flex to help them.

We had a big off in Gerry's Escort on Saturday at the Lithgow Rally, slid off a tight corner at about 80Kmh, hit soft ground and she was way up on 2 wheels for a very long time. We stopped on a big rock, right in my door. I was very happy to have 4" belts and a fully caged car. Just painted the bloody thing too!

 

I'll continue to spin my car as I'm too old and stupid to know better

I like the idea of decent belts and seats, any suggestions for reasonably priced seats for the QV for the Octoberfest ?

I'm thinking of getting a set of Hoosiers for the trackday
