Does anyone have any pics of a car finished in this old ferrari colour?

    Help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks Wayne

I saw a lovely coloured 250 at Bob Houghton's a few weeks ago and I suspect that from what has been said about the colour here, ie a slightly brownish tinge of grey, that it was indeed the elusive Canna di Fucile (one 'l' or two?). Houghtons are checking it out for me.

My 348 spider was CDF and it looked great. Unfortunately in the past century (1994) I didn't have a digital camera :)

I just saw a 550 in Canna di Fucile Metalllic on Wednesday. It is very nice and very close to the new color Grigio Silverstone (I believe).

    Thanks for the replies

I asked the paint shop to prepare two sample panels, one of Canna di Fucile and one of Griggio Silverstone. If you compare these side by side indoors, they are absolutely identical. It's only when you take them outside and especially at certain angles in the sun, that you can tell a still subtle difference.

Griggio is a uniform metallic grey at any angle but Canna has a vey slight brown or khaki tinge to it from certain angles and depending on how the light strikes it and the metallic effect is not quite so sparkly as the Griggio.

I have decided to for the Daytona in Canna Di Fucile as it just seems to look a more period colour. Will post photos on the Daytona restoration thread as it progresses.

Good Choice. CdF is awesome and will look great on a Daytona.

    Best,
