I let my son take out the 308 yesterday. He came back and said there was a problem with it and thought there was water in the carbs. He isn't very mechanically inclined so I answered, "It's probably something else".
"I'm pretty sure there's water in the carbs", he said.
"Fine", I said, "I'll go check it out. Where's the car?"
    He answered, "In the pool".

When he said there was water in the carbs, did you "choke"?

And, BTW, was that low carb?

We should be able to pool our knowledge together and help this guy out. He should be able to filter out all of the non-technical advice. Or maybe skim through the manual. Not a project that someone inexperienced should dive right into, however. One should tread lightly.

What age was your son mine is 23 and getting reasonably mature but I still would not want to let him in my Ferrari on his own this sounds like a big fish story to me

Did you do a leak-down test?

Not the Cannonball these things were made for...

Look on the bright side... All the fluids are topped up.

Best pool toy i ever had was one of those inflatable doughnuts with the turtle head... i think you win..

All the judges gave it a 9. Except the one from Sant 'Agata.. he gave a 4.
