    If i remember rightly only two cars left the factory with red leather inserts in the seats. I wonder if thats one of them?

    i think the read cloth inserts in seats and dashboard are significant for the light-weight-version. No A/C (even though it seems that this one has an A/C), manual window lifter, plexiglas rear quarter window, no radio (this one has an aftermarket one).

    Could it also be, that this one has an upgraded brake at least at the front? The disc seems to be quite large.

    They also forgot some little amount of red paint when overhauling the gearbox ;)

    I believe that the red cloth inserts were standard. The options were black leather, power windows and A/C. There was no light weight version of the GTO

    I firmly remember reading at the time that it was black or black for the leather, as i said two very special customers had the red leather inserts done by the factory. Thats how i remember it at the time, but feel free to correct me if you know for sure.

    there is also a perfect 288GTO for sale in the Netherlands.

    i believe with the same interrieur

    the price is around the € 350.000,-

    the guy who sale the car is the best you can get in the Netherlands on Ferrari
