the list is long...... another ferrari, a murcielago, a yacht, a jet, more real estate... the ferrari was an event, but no longer...more to come in life
ok, I know I excluded BMW, but a rare one is a BMW 850 Csi (M8) with only 225 made for the US market in 1994-1995. I have always liked the 12 cylinder 8 series, and the Csi is the top Dog. Another forgotten BMW is the Z8 with the M5 V8 engine (400hp), but for me it looks too much like a Z3.

I was in the same boat 6 months ago, and decided on a fun small lightweight car. So I was initially looking at Lotus 7 type cars and ended up with a Ginetta G20 instead. Fun, simple mechanicals, really lightweight, modifications available and relatively quick. A very different driving experience compared to the Ferrari. BT
Very nice indeed. A JP4 burner and very easy to fly. I highly recommed it. BTW, the C90 is a bit more fuel efficient!
This is a great question and I enjoyed the comments. I am not a collector but rather an "amasser" of cars and motorcycles. A collector has a plan, I do not. An Amasser just buys stuff. I have thought about buying a Ferrari TR, say a 1995 model. I love the looks of these cars. I have been close to buying a 1955 and a 57 Thunderbird. In fact I will be looking at a orginal bone stock 1957 "E" Thunderbird next week. I love the older XKE's. I offered a gentleman what he said he wanted on his XKE but in the end he did not want to sell it. at least yet. My other thought is a Porsche Carrera GT. I looked at one two years ago seriously. it was at the dealers, the price we were talking about came in line. What I found interesting is my Ferrari 360 Modena parked next to the Carrera Gt out classed the Porsche. Nobody in the dealership customer or employee was looking at the Carrera. All eyes where on the Ferrari. It made me stop and think it over. Anyway I looked at, drove and fell in love with a Blue Ford GT. An awesome car even compared to my F430F1 I will probably do the Jaguar XKE or the Ferrari TR, hopefully a "M" model. But who knows. I might buy a Kia! Lee
a lambo gallardo nera or se or murcielago lp 640 but with egear gear box as my 360 spider gets f1 gearbox. i have the intension to get a gallardo later buy im waiting till more money comes of the bussiness i wanted to get it 2 mounth ago as i saw the super nice gallardo nera it was the last produced so maybe they sold it allready i will try to get on of these later and if i dont find a nera i want a normal gallardo black or dark red,but when it is the normal gallardo i want to make some things to make him look more special the black gallardo with a part of the whells painted in black just like that and the dark red with dark red painted whells or black whells like that one in the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smm_gwKkTO8 before i loved aston martin but now sadently i lost the atraction i had for the db9 its better to wait till 2008 when the aston martin rapide comes out its a extended db9 it will be a serious enemy for the ferrari 612.
I had a '99 Esprit. Very, very nice car. My wife still likes it over the 360 and the 575M. A tad tempermental but, nothing serious. Great dealer support.
Absolutely. Get an Elise if you want something reliable and modern, but if you're handy with tools, NOTHING beats a Europa with the twin cam engine. It's much quicker than the MG/Triumphs and corners better than most Ferraris. You can't help but grin every time you drive it, and best of all you can have this fun at mostly legal speeds. Also, a later model Esprit will give you a race car like the Europa but with Ferrari acceleration. Ken
I want an older Lambo. Either an Islero S or a Jarama S. I want an older Maserati. Either a Ghibli SS or a Sebring. And, God help me, I want a Pantera.
I second that Ken.I had a '70 Europa and it was by far the most fun I've ever had.It was a heart breaker though, every time I drove it,it broke!
I agree. I have a Lotus Elsie Sport, #8 of 50 built and it is a blast. It is the best handling car I have ever driven. The F430 is close in handling but not quite there. The 2 1/2 time hp of the F car makes up for it not to mention the leather. Another poster mentioned the Esprit. I have a freind that I helped just buy one. When we first drove it I was not expecting much. Boy was I surprised. The V8 twin turbo at 350 hp and light weight stays up or maybe even passed the 360. it is close. The 360 has a better, lighter road felt but the Lotus feels more sport car tuned. The only issue on the Esprit is the chasis is showing its design age and while not stiff feels less willing yet more nimble than the F car if that makes any sense! My freind have had good luck on reliability so great supercar for the money. I would own one. Lee
