    Hey everyone,

I have a question for you guys.... I need parts for my 308 QV and I want to know if anyone had purchased parts from the Italian Car Parts.Com ? Before I place a order with them I would like to your buy experience from them (Good, Bad, Scammers, etc…) Here's their website www.italiancarparts.com/

I know they are a bit expensive on their parts.... If it says "Ferrari" then add 400% profit to the part!

    Thx

They are somewhat expensive but the parts are good quality. I have had no problems with them and wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again. Of course I would always compairson shop! Certainly they are not scamming anyone!

Isn't it somewhat offensive and arguably actionable to lead the thread with that presumption with apparently no evidence to back it up ?

I use ICP all the time. I have not had any problems with them at all. I ordered my new airbox cover from them and it looks fantastic.

Make sure you call them. The on-line order site seems to take longer then if you just call them and place an order. Cant explain that......

Yeah... I know... but... I noticed they have a PO BOX address and since they are a .com service, so it's best to get references before you send $$$$.

    Just my 2 cents!

I have used them before. No problems but (and I don't know if it is still the case) using a credit card was a real pain in the ass. I think I had to fax a signature in, etc. etc..

There are less expensive choices out there. I like Rutlands:

I used them - they were great!

They have some items that are tough to find... and are a little pricey for some things.

I bought a wheel cap and was not happy with the quality. They took it back without issue.

I ordered a bulb kit and expected only the plastic box. I got the box loaded with bulbs. When I called to inform them they said "Hey you got lucky some have bulbs and some don't"

This is all I've done with them. They were real nice to talk to on the phone.

I ended up buying parts for my rebuild project ($3K plus) from Rutlands purely because whenever I made an e-mail enquiry the site referred me back to itself. The only response I ever got from a phone call came by a message left 3 days later. I concluded from this that maybe the co was some guy working out out of his house or something.
    For the record
Rutlands prices that I could compare were at least 10% percent lower than Italiancarparts. com.
