    The regular F40 was 275k Euros. It was at the high end of the estimate range, but that still seems low?

    Anyone watch the Tour of Italy on TV this weekend where the peleton did a lap of the test track. You could see these cars parked on the edge.

    The 330 TRI/LM was a full $3 million more than what it sold for in 2002 at RM Monterey... not a bad little profit.

    How about 950.000 Euros hammerprice for a Daytona Spyder. I was there at the auction, and Jean Todt walked up to Edsel Ford to congratulate him on the result.

    I attended the previous auction held at the factory a couple of years back. Sothebys conducted the auction w/o RM. That same TRI that sold for big euros last week could not get a credible bid back in 05. Approx 30% of the cars sold at that summer auction. It was a fiasco. Sothebys clearly figured out that they needed to JV w/ RM to get results. The numbers that were achieved at this auction seem to show the difference that RM made.
