    I saved every dime and bought a 70' Corvette for my 1st car in 73'. (I was 21 at the time- $3200) I kept the car for 23 years, the most reliable car I've ever owned and a blast to drive.

    My first vehicle was a Big Wheel. Oh, the first vehicle I drove on the street? A 1973 Dodge Charger. I bought it with my own money at age 14 1/2. Just washed it for six months. Got my drivers permit on my 15th birthday, my drivers license on my 16th birthday. By age 14 I was already on my 5th dirt bike (Maico 400). Couldn't even touch the ground with my toes, but could wheelie in every gear, power slide, etc. I've been going extremely fast for a long time. :)

    i kid you not ....... i paid 90 bicks for the car, it had a 3 speed on the column. i painted it with a brush and used interior paint..... what a POS....... but she ran good........

    My first car was a 1967 Camaro, straight 6 with a 3speed bought it in 1988. When I graduated I bought a 327 and a 4speed and spent the summer rebuilding the motor and upgrading the car. I absolutely love that car and miss it.
