forgot about a silver AMV8 Vantage on Granville bridge In my opinion, the highlights of the show were the Noble M400 and the oldest RR in Canada: 1911 Silver Ghost.
and the pics are where? a previous 348tb owner had brought in a Noble last year, I haven't seen it yet though. The RR must of been quite something, those are worth a few quid these days.
Some pics it was quite crowded by the way. http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/7836/dsc0018nk2.jpg http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/5126/dsc0033va2.jpg http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/4735/dsc0059jt4.jpg http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/6939/dsc0100gv2.jpg http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/2162/dsc0133fv8.jpg http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/4844/dsc0195hz2.jpg http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/7956/dsc0196mh4.jpg
Hey , how bout this one ? Wasn't it nice too ? http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/710/55916483ar1.jpg Noble http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/6273/63234605ao0.jpg
Anyone know about this? http://www.wreckedexotics.com/newphotos/exotics/fordgt_20070217_001.shtml Could it be this one that was sold? http://www.westportmotorcars.com/inventory_details.php?car_id=160
Nope. That wrecked GT was a U.S car that was brought up to Vancouver illegaly. It crashed near Abbotsford about 3 months ago I think. and dark grey CGT tonight on Granville http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/5811/picture6me0.jpg http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/7798/picture7ig3.jpg
how did they bring it in from the US illegally? -- did he steal it ? I'm sure a US owner of one can license it in the US, and drive it in Canada -- Americans drive their US cars in Canada all the time...so I wonder why they called it illegal?
I spoke to the sales rep (Draken Enterprises) who brought this Noble to the show and according to him, this is the only one in Canada... But your friend may have brought in another one himself (which would probably be before this car that was on display) and like you said, he's flying under the radar for now. In any case, Noble is in the process of introducing their latest version, the M15 and these, the M12/M400 are no longer in production, but are now built (under contract) by "1g Racing" of Ohio... So, I don't know what Draken will offer in the future; the 1g Racing M400, or the Noble M15. For either car, Draken brings these cars in as parts and assembles them at their Burnaby shop. Kind of like what Super7Cars does on the Island with Caterham Super 7's (who were conspicuously absent from this year's show...). The Lotus Elise still does it for me. Damn, that is one slick car. There was a "chrome orange" one on display and when the sun came out, that thing just jumped out at you.
lets see silver 456 in West Van red/tan 355 Spider in North Van dark blue/white stripes Ford GT and a blue/white stripes Viper GTS driving side by side on Robson dark grey AMV8 Vantage
Silver 550 The orange Gallardo with the accents on the wheels aaaand a british racing green elise. oh yeah, and on saturday the light blue gallardo with the soft top on in the rain.
- baby blue lamborghini gallardo spider this morning (exact same color as in post 2 of this thread link http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=150222&highlight=baby+blue ) im sorry but it is the ugliest color i have ever seen in person on a nice car, even the guy i was working with shook his head, the owner just parked and was putting the top up as we were driving away which was cool.
