If you are wondering what the Valeo transmission is it allows you to run through the gears using the shifter without the need to use a clutch IIRC.
In a previous post it was described as looking like bad sci fi set... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey Warren, It's just a bit more of Ferrari's magic------------in 1992/93, with the help of Valeo Corp., of France. They developed a system whereby, a computor tells a mechanical "left leg" (actuator) to push the clutch pedal----------all in less than 100 ms!!!!!!!! All I have to do is reach for the lever, and the damn thing knows what I want to do. In primetime freeway driving, it's like an automatic--------other than that, I can be any of my heros that I choose to be--get it? Way less than 100 Mondials in the world have this Valeo option - oh, and one F40!! Cheers, Hank
