Okay, I feel like crap now....I brought 'nothing'.....I pledge to re-stock the College Fridge with premium 'Refreshing Malt Beverages' at the next get-together.
So all you need now is Foosball, Pool table and a Dart board, maybe some gals in shorty shorts and we can have our own "Man Show"
My fault....I forgot to tell you about the initiation fee (donuts/beer/whatever, as long as its food/drink).
Sega made a Ferrari F-355 simulater several years ago. When it was brand new it cost around 21,000 dollars. It has three screens and would give you print out of how you drove around a race course. When to shift and slow down in the corners, etc. Sega brought out Out Run 2 a couple of years ago that is sponered by Ferrari and has only ferrari cars in the game. I think you can cose between 4 or 5 different ferrari's.
I knew lots of Ferrari folks in the DC/MD/VA area - they had these SEGA 355 Challenge games at Dave and Busters Arcades. These games were built in full cooperation with Ferrari SpA, had digital recordings of 355 Challenge exhaust sounds, genuine MOMO steering wheels, F1 Paddle shifters, peripheral vision screens,....and could be networked together. They had three 'cars', and many-a-night was spent on racing each other.....arcade nirvana!
I've always found Stout a bit heavy for dounuts, I think a lager or posibly an Ale would be a better choice.
OK, now if I could get my hands on one of those....I would build an addition for it! It's own room! By the way, tonight my wife started playing with the Pole Position game and I discovered something I didn't know....she was a video game nerd in middle school! Fortunately, she never played Pole Position, so I still drive better then she did. But if I get that sit down Pac man for the family room, I'm in big trouble! Birdman
I think it should be a prerequisite for FFIC members to own at least one stand-up arcade game in their garage to entertain the others when they visit
Birdman, Great garage, having a lift is super. Looks like there's room for you to acquire more cars. Did you get the wiring diagram book? What do you think. Tom
I wish! The place in which I stood to take the picture of the garage is my wife's spot! (Approval to build the garage came with a price...she always has a spot). That leaves me one spot in a 2 car garage. in winter I stack the Ferraris with the 308 on the lift and the Mondial below it. I need to build ANOTHER garage to have space for more cars! Birdman
