Another Ferrari - Enzo, 288GTO F50 or F40 if I had the money.
Porsche 911, miss my past one, preferrably '89 Carrera but accept a clean SC or any year Carrera. Another Ferrari, probably a 3.2 Mondial coupe, maybe QV, for the family to travel together. Jeff
I have no idea what the hell this is, but if you want something to add to your collection, and require something unique... Image Unavailable, Please Login
They have a tendency to do that. It took me about 3 years to get mine to "reliable" and it's been great the last 3 years. Ken
I followed up my first Ferrari with another. I'll do that again and again if I can. To me it a Ferrari or no sports car at all. Theo
The VW Phaeton is gone, I liked it better then a Bentley Continental Flying Spur, it rode better and had more comfortable seats. The new daily driver is a Mercedes E63, 507 hp, 0-60 in 4.1 sec. The police don't notice it and you can park it anywhere without worrying.
Lee, for the past three years its been a good car, the only thing that has came up is the sensitivity with the electronics when the battery goes low, oh and the elct. ignition caught fire when I was on the 110/105 fwy other than that it cruises at 150mph.
Jets are nice but they required too much training. In order to stay competant in them you have to treat your jet proficiency like it's a second career. I have an airplane so I know. I would much rather get a go-fast boat that has a cigarette hull and lots of horse power. Bob Wassam
So I got my first Ferrari 2 months ago...a red F430 coupe with F1 transmission. LOVE the car and would think that would kill any desire for other cars but what's been troubling is that it's been exactly the opposite. My desire to get another car is stronger than ever. Weird thing is that I'm drawn towards another F430 coupe but in Black on Black. Thought about Lambos (Gallardo), Porsches (997 Turbo) etc but my mind keeps drifting back to another Ferrari (if the 599 were cheaper, I'm sure I'd consider it heh)...anyone else have this "problem?"
550 Maranello in a conservative color such as light blue or silver/gray would be next on my list. I'd like one now to place next to the Boxer, but that's way out of my budget.
Same (but opposite) problem here! Love my black F430 coupe - but there's something about Red that still gets me going. A Red 599 would be the perfect compliment but...also thinking about a Red Spyder. Good luck to us both!
I sat in a grigio alloy 550 at Bobileff's today (whilst getting my new coolant tank installed). Extremely nice color, especially for that car. It was tempting. Then I walked outside, saw my car in the sunlight and realized that short of an F40 there's nothing else I really like as much as what I have.
I am also a guitar player and collect vintage guitars. We call it G.A.S. (gear acquisition syndrome) and I have it bad for guitars and cars. you are not alone my friend, there are millions of us
That's really more of a philosophical question, sorta like when people die and go to heaven do they ever think to themselves "Now what?"
Barring large, sudden, and unexpected acquisition of wealth, current Ferrari will be my first and last one; income stream required to support the jump up to next level of Vintage ownwership or a 550 isn't there anymore. I'm very happy with the 330; it's a longterm restoration project now after recent accident.
