DN35- I took several close-up digital photos of the fuse blocks before removing any wires, as a back-up. I just spapped the wires one at a time, so it was pretty fool-proof. Just do it, your Ferrari will love you for it !

Birdman- I found that the factory screws were too long with the "NAPA" style fix, so I added spacers to mine so the factory screws work perfectly. Do yours require shorter screws ?

That's the key, IMO...one wire at a time, top side up, basic stuff.....

I have done both my 308s and it's pretty easy..

Being a total spendthrift, I went OEM, which are up to $400, for both blocks now.......I had so many extra fuses though, it came out about the same......NOT!

    Nice work Birdman!

    Steve,
Yes, the factory screws will be way too long and may pinch a wire behind the panel. (Ask me how I discovered that!!) I supply the right length mounting screws with my kit (12 mm long, 4 mm diameter, .7 mm thread). It comes with everything you need except the actual fuses, because the values are slightly different for different model 308s.

I've got one of Jonathan's early ones... I guess you could call it a prototype compared to the CNC'd new ones! Regardless, it's a great upgrade, and I'm glad I did it.

Hey- mine don't look that cool....what gives? Seriously- these replacement fuse blocks are rare in the world of Ferrari: easy to install, perfectly functional, and inexpensive. Thanks again Birdman!

    John and Mike,
Don't feel bad, I don't have the newfangled ones on my car either! Too lazy! The protoype style work just as well, and you can't actually see the anodized part once its installed anyway.

    Andy,
    Glad they made it!

DN35: My electrical abilities are pathetic but I was able to install Birdman’s fuseblocks with no problems. Believe me, if I could do it you can too.

Glad they are there! Post pictures!!

In new news....someone with a Boxer finally sent me the little 2-fuse block that the Boxers have in addition to the two large fuseblocks that they share with the 308. I was able to come up with a nice replacement for that too. So now I have a complete Boxer solution as well.

Dear All, received the fuse boxes last week from Birdman, I am still fighting to found appropriate AGC fuses in Denmark. Most of American website do not ship over USA. Any clue or advise will be helpful, I cannot wait to replace my original one. Will post few pics later on, in any case the quality of the product inspire a lot of respect vs the original one.

For a "bullet proof" electrical system, be sure to replace all of the relays too.

I finally got around to installing Birdman's fuse blocks. The windows move at a faster clip (6 seconds down, 4 seconds up). The fans seem to also move more air over the radiator. Thanks for coming up with your mod.

Hey Bob, is that a typo, or do your windows go up faster than they go down? That is a new one on me. Mine need all the gravity they can get! ;)

That was a typo. I was just so excited that they moved at a pace that was somewhat more normal. Thanks again for your great ideas.
