A local Dallas resident, Ugo Piccagli, will be participating in the modern day version of the famed Italian race next month. He will be driving a Siata BC300. Best of luck, Ugo!

I saw the car out at Shadetree being prepped. If I remember correctly, it was having an 1100 engine fitted. I think Ugo races it with a 1400 here in the states, but an older, smaller engine was required per the rules of the Mille Miglia.

Attached is a pic I took of the hood badge. Sorry, no other good pics - the car was fairly dismantled when I saw it.

Does anyone have a complete photo of the car? I tried to google Siata BC300 & came up with nothing.

In the late 80's a prospective client had an old Siata in his garage, and there was a guy at my high school who drove one with a Chevy 283 engine. Nice body styling, definitely early Ferrari-reminiscent. Not surprising thatv it came from Farina.

Yep Robert finished it very late Friday night. It's being flown to Italy, I believe it was leaving today.

Robert on the other hand is on his way back to Dallas with his newly aquired Iveco Semi that used to haul the good year blimp.

From looking at the site, it appears he finished 254 out of 375.
