OWNERS: F355 vs. 360 Modena....which one is better looking?

To me the 360 is more curvacious and modern than the straight waisted 355 (1994), which looks like a copy of the second generation Toyota MR2 (1990). BTW, my 1985 first generation MR2 was a fantastic sports car.

I think you can actually trace the 355's lines back to the Dino... flying buttresses, curved rear window, 4 round taillights, side scoops, etc etc. I agree though that the 355 is way better looking than the 360.

Having just spent the day at the VIR Challenge and Historics events, I was reminded how fantastic the 355 really is.

 

It's definitely an experience to see a 246, 308/328, 348 and 355 all lined up at a show. Some pretty nice automotive DNA there.

 

The 360 is a large car,but I think the design takes that into account.If the dimensions were smaller the design wouldn't work. The back side doesn't look much larger than the F355 and with the challenge grating on it the appearance greatly improves. I personally prefer the design and in a display of enthusiasm posted a proof of this superiority today in a new thread titled "proof the 360...."

+1 Those 360/430 rear ends are way too huge and not in a good way like the 512TR !!!

That makes sense, the 355 front bumper shape is timeless...... the fog lights do look rushed.

The 355 definately has the looks far over the 360 IMO

 

I like the 360 Spider better but think that the 355 coupe is better looking than the Modena

 

Me too. The 355 is a very pretty car and will probably be more collectable than the 360 in future years, but it's looks are dated as of now. The 360 is still contemporary.
