I think you'd have to change the whole upright to the newer version. But I'm not sure that would work as I think there were some other suspension changes in 88.5 that would make using a newer upright impossible on an older car.

But I'm just shooting in the dark here so ignore me.

It'll be cheaper to buy a late TR than to change all the suspension at all four corners. Yes....REALLY.

Are you sure? What are the last 5 digits of the VIN? The last TR that left the factory with K/O's was s/n 75995, which would have an early 1988 production date. If the car is a Euro version, sometimes the year can be "fudged" on the documents.

Did you not see Brian K.'s earlier response? Too many parts need to be changed to make this doable $-wise -- it would be ~3X cheaper to sell your single-lug and buy a 5-lug rather than buy a junk 5-lug and transfer over virtually all of the suspension.

How many new threads are you going to start and ask the same question?

There are replies in your other posts that spell it out very clear...spacers will not work, you basically have to change the entire 4 corners of the car, and you would be better off simply buying a 5 lug car....clear?

This will not change, no matter how many threads you start to ask the question.

Not to change the subject but I saw daytona race rims on a gt4 in SB once, seemed like the owner said the bolt on spline used the same holes as the 5 lug bolts. I know this is going the other way, just a comment
