I think if it stays dry the finishing order will, for the most part, be decided by qualifying as you have said. But, if it rains I think it'll all be up for grabs and do agree there are some drivers who could be spoilers just a bit down the grid. I'd also love to see Nick take a win. How's this, if qualifying is in the wet Sato will out qualify Massa. :)

In another thread nearly two weeks ago I suggested that Heidfeld could win, I was accused of smoking crack.

So we all must be smoking crack.

You do not get my point. As someone who roots for a team, Ferrari in this case, your number one adversary is Mclaren and you do not want them to do well. For someone who roots for a driver, Kimi for instance, the number one adversary may be the team mate, Massa, and then they would not want him to do well.
You choose to root for a team, others choose to root for a driver, neither way is right or better, regardless of whether this is a Ferrari site or not. And in this case, everyone is still rooting for a Ferrari.

It would be interesting to see what happend if the skies decide to open up...will the Red Bull cars still be up in the front, Will Speed still be outdriving Liuzzi like he did last race, maybe BMW can get their win? Should prove to be a great race if it does indeed rain, either way I want to see Kimi live up to his expectations, and Massa not do too bad in the wet.

Just because i am also a Heidfeld supporter does not mean that i think he's a real threat to win anytime soon...supporting and saying he'll win are two different matters... again, you make too many inferences..

Kimi-Massa, Massa-Kimi. I enjoy the depth of the situation and do not take it personel. But, who would Impy fav, and what if Kimi-Massa boiled down to a Senna-Prost ending?

What exactly is the value and the point of your comment meaning you WANT to see Massa at the back of the grid.

This is no case of sensitivity it is a case of common courtesy, sadly missing on your part.

If this is your idea of debating on Formula1, than by all means, get lost and get lost quickly and for all eternity.

    Thats just BS.

Ventilating the longing for a particular driver´s unfortune or bad performance has nothing to do with expressing an opinion and has everything to do with an apperant desire to de-rail a perfectly fine debate.

I can´t imagine why we would want to put up with these types of remarks. Well, actually I can with the current anti-Massa atmosphere being happily maintained here.

Critizising Massa is fine, but some of you are just out of control-

Some people on here have wished a lot worse to happen to Alonso in the past couple years and some continue to express worse things this year.

Although this is a Ferrari forum, it doesn't mean we all have to sing Kumbaya, hug trees and adore the Ferrari drivers. If we'd all agree on the drivers, then there would be little use in having a forum and a debate.

Some of the adoration he gets on here is also way out of control.

And btw: The name is Felipe. Not Phil, not Michael, but Felipe.

The critisizing of Massa gotten out of hand here. I hate it when people say "he hasn't proven himself" or "but look at the car he is in." he HAS proven himself this year and it DOES NOT MATTER what might have happened in another car. He isn't in another car. He is in a Ferrari and he is winning in it, and that is all that matters.

Well, Alonso doesn't drive for Ferrari, does he? ;)

I see what you mean, but for example, I was REALLY hoping that Alonso would somehow retire from the Brazilian GP last year, but I had no desire for him to get hurt in any way. If I had my pick, Alonso wouldn't get another podium this year and Hamilton would get a win or two, along with all the other races won by Ferrari. People only wish things on Alonso that may seem bad because they want a Ferrari to win, not for him to get hurt.

really? In terms of ontrack antics, they are both pretty boring. Kimi, however, seems to be something of a party animal outside of the track. Not that that is what I look for in a driver, but I think Alonso, as a human being, easily beats Kimi in the boredom department. I mean, his greatest hobby is performing magic tricks.

Senna flew model planes, MS plays soccer. Big yawn.

Compare that to Gilles and Pironi: Playing a helicopter version of chicken over the roofs of Monaco. Now THAT's cool.

Of the current group I still like Kimi and his antics the most. At least some resemblance of Irvine and Hunt.

My belief about F1 drivers or any super rich people is, that you owe it to the rest of us to be eccentric and entertain us with your life style. Branson is doing great for example, Gates less.

Is there a reason that Friday practice wasn't aired by Speed Channel?
