I work with a guy that is collecting license plates as a fun and educational project with his son. I have donated several to his sons collection from Calif, Missouri, Virginia, Iowa, Michigan and North Carolina. Anyone with additional states is welcome to donate. Doug
I have a bunch...... Personalized Texas ones..... ALS CAD ('76 Eldorado) ALS BRD ('78 Formula Firebird, '94 25th Anniversary Trans Am) ALS MRC (Mercury Racing boat trailer) And some normal ones, off my work trucks... Also have the Oregon ones that came from Ed Hodel's 308GTB #22641......I think the rear ones still one that car, expired in '04! Gotta do something about that, soon...
Thats why I donated all my plates, I was too tempted to put them on my clean freshly painted garage walls. So send me some of those old Texas plates
Address? Send me a PM I'll do it.... Yea, but my NEW FERRARI CHICKEN SHED will need some wall decor! I have enough for both projects....
Thanks! Douglas Crall 11700 Central Parkway Jacksonville FL 32224 (For those who don't know, yes I am his brother and the only one who ever called me Douglas was Mom when she cought me)
Doug- If interested, I've got some extra Illinois plates from my Rollers. Things like 'R Royce', 'Rollz' etc. If you want them, give me a PM so I know where to send them. I might even have some extras off of the Ferraris; I'll have to check. If so, they'll be Illinois too. The Emperor, Skip
Your welcome. They were sent Priority Mail. It was rather ironic what the clerk said, when I took the package to the post office. They were packaged up and you couldn't tell what was in the envelope. When the clerk took the package she said, "Hmmm, license plates!" Now how the heck did she know that?!?!
As a plate collector, I find that ebay is a great source for plates. You can get a set of all 50 states for less than a buck each if you look hard enough.
