A 20 year old being drunk, shouldn't she be in trouble for that and whoever gave her the stuff. And doesn't anyone know that the car is a SL65 AMG.
She could be in quite a heap because there's zero tolerance for alcohol related incidents under the legal drinking age. Also, I heard they found cocaine in her car.
I have a friend that got busted less than 3 blocks from his house for a DUI. No wreck, he was pulled over for not signaling. He LOST his lisense for 24 months. and it was his first offense. My girlfriends sister lost her lisence for a year for using a fake ID at age 20. She's more than a first time offender and this time they even have coccain. Even with all of the damning evidence I think it will be one of those cases where a famous person gets a slap on the wrist.
Laws are getting out of control. I don't know if my generation would have held up any better. The drinking age was 18 and the BAC was .1 I think. I don't condone underage drinking or drinking and driving but I don't know if the 21 drinking age and .08 has done anything but make more relatively honest people criminals. First legal drink after college graduation?
No biggie. I used to do it all the time - up until I was 36 or 37 years old. I'd play these huge parties in different time zones until 3 or 4 am, hang out at an afterparty until 6 or 7 and then get to my hotel for some sleep, catch a flight in the afternoon and repeat the same thing the next night somewhere else in a different state. Never did any drugs...just kept myself in great shape. I also used to sleep a full 15 hours when I finally did get back home. Oh the good ol' days. RMX
I can also personally attest to partying till after everyone is at work in the AM, drugless. It's not hard to do.
Yea, but in her case I'm going with the "extra gas in the tank" scenario. It will be interesting to see what they do with her this time. DUI, leaving the scene and drugs in the vehicle. This kid is spiraling out of control. All it will take is a judge looking to make a name for himself(and what judge will want to be known as the one that let her off?) and I think they'll nail her. It's probably good to set an example for the brat kids out there that look up to this kind of stuff.
+1 I completely agree with everything you just said. I believe in the, "If you get caught you deserve it" philosophy. However, I find it hard to believe that using a fake ID can score you a year of a revoked license, but a DUI + cocaine possession won't. If she comes away with a slap on the wrist and probation I'll be pissed.
Oh just watch. She will. People like her take responsibility for, and are accountable to, NOTHING. RMX
Wow, what a scene. This video shows and the article spells out what a typical night's like for her. I wouldn't trade this for anything..... http://www.splashnewsonline.com/2007/05/26/exclusive-video-of-lindsay-lohans-dui
Same. I did it for 4 straight months my first semester of college, no drugs at all. I partied 6-7 nights a week, till 5 or 6 in the morning. Although it was wild, eventually it became the most empty and unproductive I've ever felt in my entire life. I don't know who can actually say they love that lifestyle, it was hard to feel good about yourself. I'm not talking about what REMIX did, his situation was cool. I mean getting to the point of blacking out and that being your goal, then waking up at noon looking forward to going out that night. While I don't regret it, I wouldn't ever do that again. Man am I glad I got out of that, although I must admit now I make it to bed before 3 when I go out.
She's too young for an IUD, oops, wait, then again, she's also too young to be drinking in the first place. These Hollywood "celebrities" are getting out of control and the fact that the media publicizes their stupidity left and right is appalling. Why can't the press actually report on important matters like the increasing prices of gasoline or healthcare. Now there's something that interests me. I could really give a funk less if Anna Nicole Smith died of an overdose or if "Firecrotch" rammed her SL65 into a curb. They're both useless and shouldn't be idolized.
As much attention as she has recieved at such an early age, which can screw up anybody, combied with horrible parenting have compleatly screwed this girl up. From what I understand they found at least 2 grams of coke in her car (probobly more like 3 in reality). She hasnt really had to take responsibility for any of her actions up to this point in her life, but I get the sense the legal system in california is getting tired of these party kids. example being paris hilton.
Yea, the latest is she'll only have to serve half the jail term. Anyone else and they'd be most likely be sitting behind bars for the full term.
