If they hadn't done the side scoops, rear area and grilles, it probably wouldn't be that bad.

    Crap wheels don't help either.

I little bit of a project no less, but in the right hands could be brought back.

The color scheme appears to be designed to draw your eye to the sagging driver's door.

That thing looks like ****. Exterior is terrible whoever painted that thing needs a good beating :). Interior looked really worn to me. That car looks like it has seen better days.

Ferrari of San Diego would customize the OEM wheels that way.

The color is everything with a vehicle. And only certain cars can pull off certain colors.

But certain Ferrari's should only be certain colors. Of course any Ferrari is beautiful in red.

But my favorite Ferrari is the 308. In my opinion should only be red or black. Yellow just doesn't look right to me. I've seen white ones and they look horrid. And an array of some other colors original or not I don't know. But like the purple one it's horrid.

My second favorite Ferrari is the 355. It's absolutely beautiful and sexy in yellow. Red is awesome too.

A red Dino is to die for. And I've seen yellow as well.

Pretty much all Ferrari's should be red or yellow. And certain ones in black.

    What do you all think?

I have a black 308GTB. Obviosly I reckon it looks great.
Yellow Dino's look pretty bloody good.

This is pretty bad - the way it is combined, and the paleness of the yellow. As a general rule, red, black, yellow and dark blue are all good. White and silver are not bad, but I prefer the others.

i like it and would buy it if it was cheap. my old (red) GTB also was from the San Diego area and had the blacked out 14's on it. new owner has restored them and they look great.

Mmmm, that is one lovely condition car. Nice photo too. Hard to capture the gleam like that. The right color depends on a lot of things - like the surroundings - and the right color at one time may not be at another.

And in a sea of red Ferraris, it was this all-original silver 246GT that won best Ferrari at the XXX Rootbeer Italian Drive-In show a few weeks ago.

    I think opinions vary widely.

I personally don't think a stock 308 could ever look horrid no matter what color it is. also, I find Ferraris in unusual colors far more interesting though I probably in the minority on that one.

I always thought all Ferrari's should be red until I saw your car!
That blue looks great on a Ferrari!

They do look nice. I've seen a 308 here in San Diego with the wheels painted - a bit '80s, but very sharp.

Love that ad, too. I remember when it ran in R&T.
