Motor and wheels aside, are there any other 360 parts left on it? Is the rambler body built overtop a 360 chassis? More info please.
Please fill us in if you have more info that you are willing to share about the car. Because all I know is what I see in these pics
I love this kind of stuff. As a person who makes their living with their hands (and by default their mind), I love to see someone who puts some actual "physical" talent into a project like this. I'd also love to hear from all those Ferrari snobs who claim "ferrari" is the engine and the "rest is free" (per Enzo) expalin whether this is a Ferrari or not...LOL! Every so often we see an actuall Ferrari (body/chassis) with and non-ferrari engine and all the snobs/naysayers are tripping over themselves to call it anythign but a Ferrari and then you get a car with the heart of a Ferrari and by their logic, what do you have....
To each their own, but I much prefer the original breadvan. Interesting, but I'd keep it more of a sleeper and paint the calipers black/throw some vintage style rims on/tint the rear limo-black... the shields are a big no in my book. -Tad
well, see i had this rambler american sitting out back with a really good body and i came across this ferrari with a rough body and so i sez to myself....why not? you know those ferrari sheet metal parts are really pricey! i wouldn't but i am very glad someone else is! fun. tom w
Easy there, I didn't see anything to suggest that this was an american project. The original poster was from Sweden. Besides, hate us for something that matters not just some car. I have to agree that the fabrication looks to be top shelf.
Those cars are unibody but it seems they're making a frame for it. Bunch of bits from a 360 and bolting up to the custom frame. Show car so I bet it won't be keeping those Ferrari wheels. IMO use Ferrari parts for building Ferraris, not for another cars. This idea is stupid (like the Nissan Sunny GTiR with F355 engine), i like american hotrods, but with an F-engine and wheels?
