    Does anyone know the part number for the expansion valve that controls the AC temp on my 1983 308 QV? The attached capillary tube runs through the firewall to the console temp control as a single sealed unit. A clue on a source and price would help too. A previous (owner,mechanic?) cut the capillary thinking it was a wire I think.

    Try a 1978-1983 Porsche 911SC. My valve had a long capillary tube.
    Let us know if that will work
