    It's not a BIG deal!

Other than attracting some pervs that have already chimed in, girls having exotics may also have a "size" stigma, just in a different area; but it's not for me to say.

In my crew, we have Haley & Chelle with their 250 GTO and Lamborghini, and Carla with her Gallardo; she just sold her 355 Spider.

Most of us, and I repeat MOST of us, think of them as just being fellow enthusiasts!

Yeah, some guys will try and put the make on you because you own a Ferrari, but those aren't the kind of guys you want to know.

Just do your thing, and the hell with what anyone else thinks!

    :)

its a big deal to find a woman who actually cares about the cars, on her own, and not because her significant other does.

plus its damn nice to " meet " ya.

anyway, i have had *cough* a few 308's. let me know if you have any questions.

life is short, miles of smiles to ya!

On a "driver" condition car (e.g. "needs tlc"), if you want to bring it up to "daily driver" reliability, figure on a quarter of the purchase price on the first major service. There'll be lots of little details that you can either fix all at once (expen$ive), or day by day (annoying). Ya pays yer money and ya takes yer choice.

But if you go in with your eyes open, a car that you get fixed up yourself provides a warmer, fuzzier feeling than something with a premium price that you've been told is "like new".

I skipped the PPI on my 328, too. I had service records from new, spent several hours looking over the car, and drove it con gusto (the salesman turned pale :p) so I knew roughly what condition it was in.

... And I did spend about a quarter of the purchase price to get it fixed up -- but I had figured on that beforehand.

And then it was my daily driver (in summers) for a couple of years.

Avoiding disappointment is often a matter of getting your expectations sorted out. ;)

Just a lot of guys spending all their time in the garage and on the internet. A female who shares the same interests seems "too good to be true" to some of 'em. Don't worry about it. Just be careful what pictures you post. ;)

Welcome and good luck with your 308. Afew years ago I sold my 85 308 QV to a single young lady in Indianapolis who had been dreaming about getting one for years. Worked up thru Vettes , etc... and finally made her goal and loving it.
