Unbolting the rear end. Anybody have pics of this "cradle" i've heard of. I guess it holds the rear end so you can work on it and roll it around.

Pulling motor/tranny this weekend. So I'll have to fab up something silimiar if I can find pics.

Thanks in advance, and no smartass comments like try searching, already did, didn't find anything, and if somebody does search and finds something, dont be a jackoff.

Hope your personal life is going better than your car life.

There are a lot of folks with huge knowledge and good heart here on the chat.

Admonishing them to not be a jerkoff is kind of off putting.

Try to get in touch with your kinder/gentler side or take the attitude elsewhere.

    with kind regards,
    cm

    p.s. you gotnice wipers

Whoa, not a cool statement for a newbie; or anyone else for that matter!

Try a more gentler tone and you may get some results.

ive been lurking around the tech forums and notice quite a few fchatters that are not very nice to newbies and dont offer any insight/help, im not a newbie and just need a pic, grow some skin. if i didn't post that up, i would have gotten a ton of replies saying try searching etc etc....from the FCHAT gods of ferraris, if you guys dont want to help, thats fine. i dont care. i'll fab something up myself.

and in my mind, if you talk a certain way to somebody because of their number of posts, your an r-tard. dont treat me like im an idiot. im not. if any of you keyboard warriors want to talk, pm me.

Your anger management/small penis issues aside. What exactly are you looking for?

    Your request wasn't too specific.

What kind of car? The Mondial?

What are you doing to it? What kind of equipment do you think you need?

I see you're from Colchester, Vermont. A friend of mine set the World Snowmobile Speed Record there in 1970. I have a poster commemorating it hanging in my shop.

    chris,
the WSM shows a pic of the 'dollies' or casters that are used. if your good with a welder then you can weld up some plates and casters that bolt to the subframe mounts and wheel around the car, a pallet with casters would also work for the engine/trans subassy. once removed or make another set of casters. hope that helps

car is a mondy qv. isn't it common knowledge everybody with a ferrari has a small penis? the more it cost, the smaller it is? what is this WSM pic you speak of? i have plenty of square stock and casters plus im a decent welder so i should be able to hack something together.

I need the engine out to remove the headers and for mock up reasons.

im going to do things to this car that would make people cry or rejoice on this forum. we'll just have to wait and see what happens. its only another car to me.

My only concern is not having a lift, although, a new mini excavator just arrived outback, so i could use that to lift the car when everything is unbolted....hmm..thats almost brillant....going outside to see if it will work. nothing like redneck engineering
