Horrible flick, I was at the Long Beach Race when that crappy movie debuted, and Renny Harlin was telling some people, "once this film is a sucess my next film will be about F1!"
It's all about finding the groove. I said it before and I say it again: If the Scuderia brings back MS to develop the car and give Kimi a motivational push, then life has imitated art, the plot of Driven has become real life.
Don't start patting yourself on the back quite just yet...you missed Mario's many qualifying statements. He is not stating anything as FACT, he is clear that this is merely his opinion.
Certainly his opinion, but Italian Mario still has connections to the Italian Ferrari factory, and he has information better than most of us. Nothing he said anywhere in the article changes what I said in my post. Massa does get along with the team better than Raikkonen, Massa does know the car better, etc.
I agree with you. Being in the Ferrari F1 club at last years Canadian GP, in the garages, meeting the drivers, and talking with some of the mechanics, i was able to see how much the team supported Massa and how close they all were. I didn't see this in most of the other teams and drivers. I think its probably the same way today, and Kimi just needs to warm up to them.
Seems like Kimi is not up to the task at hand. I see a lot of mention of excuses like team support, new car, Massa being with the team longer etc. which all seems plausible until you look at someone like Lewis who got pole yestereday on a track he's never driven, against the 2x world champion on his own team, and this is like his 6 GP race qualify-go figure. I had really hoped Kimi would snatch this thing but things don't seem like they will unfold that way. Massa's only chance at winning a race seems to be from pole. I honestly hope Ferrari is still in the game for this season.
