As to being able to drive a car hard and still have reliability...I ahve never found a car more resilient than my 1991 NSX. I ahve had countless corvettes and an early Lotus...and those things were less dependable than the corner drunk ending up pie-eyed on my lawn every Sunday morning!! It is true that you must mod your NSX in order to give it a more exotic feel and look...but once you have done that...you ahve a phat and sic machine. When I drove my vettes I always knew that they could not compare to a european exotic...but the NSX has a unique charm to her that is timeless. Dam
Well some girl in her 20's was driving that pick up and thought if she floors it she would make it, but her truck died in the middle. My brother kept a cool 5 km and drove right past her no problem. Some of these girls think they can do anything and don't think. So yes my brother made it out no Problem.
Brim: great video! Where was this held? Looks a bit like AB, but the plate on the Murcielago definitely wasn't Albertan.
Speaking of which... Does anyone get as annoyed as I do when car ads in magazines/newspapers get the car name wrong? It annoys me so much that I end up correcting them at work with what they should be. For example, an ad for a Ford dealer here in Calgary (can't remember which) put a photo of a GT with Heritage colour scheme as a Mustang. Grr.
I agree that's highly irritating. I also hate it when I'm talking with a car salesman who knows nothing about the cars that he sells, but thinks that he's very knowledgeable. Also saw these cars last night: Red 360 on Richmond Silver 360 17th GT40 silver w/stripes 17th Maroonish RR Phantom 14th st. Silver Z8 on Elbow this morning
Phantom?? Nice! So far this morning: White Gallardo tearing up 17th Silver 360 spider Silver Vanquish Blue Bentley GTC
Dino, in PM I requested that you please not participate in this thread. While I cannot force you to do so, I suspected that you would be understanding enough to comply. You yourself said in PM that we should eliminate our interaction. And yet in an act of defiance you posted twice more in this thread. I can only assume that you are delusional, confused, psychotic, or borderline retarded. There are over 170,000 other threads in this forum, and yet you continue to post here. While your last couple posts were innocuous, our entire group knows what you are capable of doing, not the least of which is badmouthing people you know nothing about. In addition to being blacklisted from almost every exotic car event in town, you are giving all the rest of the young enthusiasts a bad name. Have you ever stopped and wondered why most of the events are now private? Has it ever crossed your mind as to why young enthusiasts / future owners are now absent from most photo opportunities? It's because of you in large part, and your acidic vitriols that you've posted here and elsewhere on the net. I don't get paid for any of the posts I do here. I do it for free and because I love it. Or more accurately, past tense - I did love it. I can't tell you how many hours I've spent on here posting information, helping others, and pasting photos in, all for the sole reason of fostering the community for the enjoyment of others. On another level, I'm a paying subscriber. That is, I am paying for the opportunity to post on this website. You on the other hand are not a paying customer. And yet you continue to create noise when it is unwanted. Please.
Hey Sheldon, how did you happen to see the same car? That's awesome! Thanks for taking a pic so I can enjoy it once again. I didn't have my camera with me. By the way I know you're pro but what kind of Camera do you use? Your pics of the flood last week were amazing!
Here's some random stuff I shot over the past month around 17th Ave. The White Gallardo, yellow 328, 355 spider w/ my dirty Integra, yellow 360 spider, 6.0 Diablo, silver 360 spider, the boys in blue doing some nifty maneuvers in HAWC2, Bentley GTC from above, and the sweet S7.
