Does anyone know where I can get a new (or good used) front targa seal for a 328 Gts. It's the rubber that runs accross the top of the windshield frame to seal the targa roof (Part No. 60607900). I've tried all the usual parts suppliers in the UK and the US without success. The seal has been out of production with Ferrari for over 3 years and I'm told that there's no plans to remanufacture them in the near future. It's the final piece in the jigsaw puzzle of a 10 month 700 hour + restoration of my 328. Can't believe that I'm beat for a rubber seal ! Appreciate any info. Regards Franco
I got one from Daniel at Ricambi America last year. Needed to replace the rear one and went ahead and replaced them both.
My local Ferrari dealer had one in stock. I needed the back/door seal (which is readily available) this spring and knew the front ones were hard to find. I mentioned that to the parts guy and he said they had one on the shelf so I bought it just in case I need it someday. Only cost about $280. I don't want to sell mine but you might try calling dealers around the country to see if they have one laying around - if you haven't tried that already.

After spending many months trying to source the front targa seal (mostly around Europe but also in the US) I contacted Daniel at Ricambi. He didn't actually have one in stock but tracked one down in a matter of hours and got it shipped to me in the UK within 2 days. He took the time to find the part, call me back (in the UK) and email me with tracking numbers, etc. Never delt with these guys before but got to admit that their customer service is absolutely 1st class and their prices are very reasonable too ....... highly recommended !
