Even if they can't win it, they need to have Kimi up with Felipe and stop floundering around in 5th or so. One of them need to be second or better with the other car right on his tail.

I hope the Ferrari's finish 1 and 2 at this race and the McLaren's DNF so we can liven up both Championships.

I'm quite sure a keg in the car connected to his drink tube would violate the rules.

Kimi doesn't seem to be all that into the little technical details that help the engineers setup the car. If he can't communicate what's going on or just wants to 'drive' he'll never be at the top of his game. If there is no feedback to the engineers they just spend all their time setting up the car according to raw data collected on drives. Unfortunately what the driver 'feels' matters because of driving style and preference. If they don't know, the car will never be at Kimi's optimum setting.

Hmmmmmm. That just might work.:) I forget the particulars but there was a story of someone running a race and downing a couple of bottles of champage or something. Totally sloshed by race end. He might have won, i forget the story, it was in road and track i think serveral years back. It was probably in the 50s sometimes, i'll see if i can look it up.

Alonso isn't very technical either, I understand he gives accurate feedback though. I think all those years working with what will probably be the last real technical master in MS, might have put them behind to work with a much less technical driver such as Kimi. McLaren might be better suited to this at the moment.

If it is important to him to have it set up in one way, and that way is indeed fast, then it is his responsibility to communicate that effectively.
If he cant or wont , it is still his job to drive the car to its limits however it is set up and hope his natural talent is enough to compensate.
