Anyone got one they don't need? The vinyl seems to be ok for now just want to take precautions. Also is the vinyl on the fuse cover so different from regular vinyl? I just need something to do.

www.dashmat.com - custom cut for the Ferrari 308. I have one in black... really nice!

I picked up a "Dashmat" brand dashmat too, they do a great job of removing the glare from the vinyl dash as well as protecting it from Sun damage. The vents hold it in place, so no sticky tape needed.

Yes, no problem with that. As noted, you can remove the 3 center circular vents, put down the Dashmat, and then clip them back in from on top of the dashmat and it will hold it nicely in place. Don't try to do that with the long non-circle vents though... they don't pop off that way.

I bought the standard black. It looks and works great.
I never put the top on ! It stays perfectly in place with just the vents holding it..

Well, you guys sold me! It's cheap enough, and I was looking for something to take the glare off the windshield, so hopefully this will do the trick and protect the vinyl at the same time.

I bought a dashmat for my 308 and the fit was poor. It does however do a fine job of reducing the dash glare. Agree that the vents are the way to go holding it down.

Here is a shot of mine, I think the fit is fine for the price and solves the glare problem, which is why I bought mine.( fit was secondary to seeing the road)

Mine is crooked and uneven but the glare was life threatening, if not for me then, the poor guy trying to cross the street.

glad i have it, maybe i can get my wife to trim and edge the mat.

By the way, a good pair of polarized sunglasses (like RayBan) also eliminates most of the glare...
