    *sigh*

It's not about religion, politics, marque sales outlets, or fans in the stands.

F1 to Bernie is about TV and sponsorship -- So the races go where Marlboro can put their logo in front of the TV cameras.

In Europe and the US, if it's fun, it's illegal. So the writing is on the wall: booze, alcohol, etc, etc, will all be Big Brothered off the venues there. (How long before sports cars are added to the list?)

I don't know how terrorists think they can do worse to western nations than western nations are already doing to themselves.

Nope. Laguna Seca is not F1 standard, as far as i know.

Its nice to see F1 expanding; it truly is a global sport. On the other hand, it would also be nice to India prioritizing a bit, like, let's say, cleaning up the world's largest slum. You know, the one with one toilet per million people...

    GUYS.

Please keep the P&R crap out of race threads. IF it keeps up, I'll move this thread into P&R, and then where would you unsubscribed guys be? :D

OUT IN THE COLD on this one.

    Thanks for cooperating,

    Dave M

Don't generalize all of FerrariChat because of Frank. Frank is an idiot and most people realized it long ago.

Wow, you must be a neo-con...if you cannot come up with a reasonable counter argument you resort to name calling...so sad...especially for the administrator of a worldwide Ferrari chat site...

Rob, I'm not sticking up for Frank. He can do a fine job himself. I just don't know why you name call. You can do whatever you want, this is you deal. I just think it makes other members think they should do it to be cool like you.

Parker, you are a troll, plain and simple. You seem to delight in injecting religion into unrelated threads and areas (exalting Christianity in OT and now slamming Islam in Racing).

Spring for the subscription and keep your blathering to P & R. I am no mod but I am a forum member and I have no desire to see this rubbish in the Racing forum, of all places. Especially when the admin has expressly forbidden such discussions in places other than the private fora.

I don't want to populate my ignore list, but you're looking like a prime candidate to begin with.

For God's sake give that religion issue a friggin' break!!!!! It's enough of that garbage on the news and if you really want to point fingers at muslims all you have to do is pay 15 $ and become a silver subscriber, then you'll get access to the religion part of this forum and fire your ammo there!!!

I'm so sick and tired of reading about religion everywhere, PLEASE keep it out of Racing & Tracking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just had to vent a little.

Frank is a troll, with a lower case t. Most active users know that, we have to sometimes remind others not familiar. There is no reason to sugar coat it and look at the other user responses. If you make idiot responses all the time that cause conflict in our community, then I will call you an idiot. You don't hear that from me too often, because thankfully most of you don't make stupid comments like this..

I actually have to say something? Your post warrants a response? I am going to say something the other users haven't said already?

    1) India is not a majority Muslim country. There are Muslims in India like there are in every other country.

    2) What makes security any less in India than any other F1 site? 9/11 proved that.

    3) I support your topic to consider security, but not in your ignorant context of India. More well founded if you addressed F1 security globally and not hijacked this thread.

    1) So what...I never said India had a Muslim majority... it does have a good number of Muslim extremist who have been causing terror in India, particularly the Kashmir region for decades; 2) I have no idea...I just know India in general seems to have more attacks that most European or other current F1 venues; 3) Good...I do too. And, my post was meant to address F1 venue security as it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that when you go to a less secure area of the world that has has a long history of Islamic terrorist that you have a greater chance for an attack...especially when the event is one like F1 that is an almost exclusively group of rich white guys from the West of which few are Muslims...oh yea, my IQ is 139, far from 80 that qualifies one as an idiot...how about you? Anyway, I'm getting bored with this subject matter anyway...Bernie will do what he wants to do regardless...until next time...hugs and kisses...

It seems like the general idea of this thread is now off the mark. I hope India gets a good track, and all other future tracks in the Far East, because thats where this sport is going. I heard that someone wants two races in the US...I'm all for that.

This makes me scratch my head...

Muslims have bombed a building, Timothy McVeigh bombed a building. Muslims were involved in the Munich tradgey, Eric Robert Rudolph bombed the Atlanta Olympics. Muslims bombed the Madrid trains, the IRA has bombed trains. Muslims bombed the Kenyan hotel, IRA bombed a hotel in an English resort. Muslims have blown up planes, so have non-muslims. And the list goes on. So what point are you trying to make? This kinda stuff isn't done by muslims alone.

first intelligent post! Could not agree more.

By the account of security I may add that since terror attacks in the US claimed more lifes than in India wouldn't that warrant to take the Indy GP and put it into India then? By all means you should feel more comfortable in India than New York City.
