I did some agressive driving this weekend. Took the car to a local car show and spun the tires twice by popping the clutch. Now it seems that the clutch is slipping in second and third even after cool down. Have I fried the clutch? It was checked last year and it was fine. I do have a tight pedal, stiff clutch pedal. Any comments?

If it's slipping in 2nd and 3rd, yes, it's fried. But you couldn't have totally worn it out with a few hard starts, it had to be pretty well worn out, and maybe you just glazed it a bit more.

It's really easy to pull the clutch out for replacement. You just need to find out if it's only a worn disc, or the pressure plate is glazed/hot spotted/scored, or the flywheel is worn - or if there is fluid leaking onto the disc from the triple seals or slave cylinder, or the flywheel is leaking. Once you get it out, it's easy to tell.
