Euro versions have a fuel bladder, expensive to change.....US versions are steel tanks.

I've driven one, yes. I'd classify it as a borderline religious experience.

In short, it's the most amazing, rewarding car I've ever driven in my life.

I'm Mr. Nero, but I'd keep an F40 red. It's one of the few times I think red is the best color for a car.

    +1

I haven't owned either, so this is my opinion, but I think the F40 will always been one of Ferrari's high watermarks. Handbuilt, old school Ferrari, outrageous Pininfarina design, traditional gated shifter, etc.

The 360, even in CS guise, will seem like an old car in a few years.

If you plan on using it as a daily driver, I'm sure the 360/F430 would be more comfy with a/c, power seats and all the luxury goodies. Plus maybe you can get a CPO warranty on it.

But if someone offered to hand me the keys to either car, F40 would get my vote by a huge margin.

Black looks great on the F40, even if it took PS to do it...

Hmmm it really is true, but somehow red is a bit boring as well. All my cars have been/ are black.

Don't go too far with that line of thinking. The AC in the F40 is the strongest of any car I have owned. Once cooled down, I don't keep it a max even in mid summer in central Florida.

Power Seats... who cares. how often do you change seat position once set?

I'm surprised. My 328 has a/c, but the vents are small and the fan isn't so powerful.

But I have the top off anyway...

+1 on power seats, especially for pure 2 seaters. Pointless...

I have both the F40 and CS. The two cars cannot be compared. They are very different in every way. However, if you had to choose one for an overall great driving experience (fun per mile, grin factor, etc.) - it would be the F40 hands down. It may be "old school" but the driving experience cannot be duplicated by any modern day Ferrari. The CS is a great car but it cannot be compared to one of Ferrari's greatest creations!
