I got to 8 a few times but when it's moving that fast, you just react. I like it too, weird but neat.
How the heck do you get past level 7? I keep getting hammered when the ball starts bouncing crazily. 21705 points, though.
How did you manage level 9, with a few "lives" left? Any tips for level 8? Do you start off with a straight shot, or a nasty curve?
Ok listen up Mac, this is the lowdown on the scoop from behind closed doors. From 1-7 I try to get their "paddle/shield" going to one side {a corner really}. Move your paddle in a slow diagonal movement so when the ball comes back to you it will hit in the very corner of your side. And just as it's coming back, go from the other side of the screen and use wicked curve and if their paddle was in say... the top right, use your curve to drive the ball in the bottom left. I can ace 1-4 easily and most of level 5. I don't think you can ace 6 or above but you can use this "trick" to get to level 8. At 8 just hang on and set up your next 2 moves. Like chess, you can't do it all at once. Get that ball headed toward your own top or bottom corner and then very quickly move your paddle so you strike it directly in their corner without letting them hit it. Because if they do... it's hel lish! Level 9 is a total whore! You get screwed at every turn. I scored 2 hits against 9 but that is all I can manage. My hand eye just isn't quick enough. My biggest beef is being able to move your mouse off the screen then there is a touch of lag and loss of controll. O and when the ball is bouncing up and down in the higher levels is a weekness for me. Side to side is fine. I actually prefer it. I can spin the ball very well from there but up and down I just get screwed.
Any nasty curve on 7 or abouve usually results in an even bigger curve comming back. I can't ace past level 5. I can get a return and then a winner from level 6 and 7 but 8 and 9 are just too damn fast. And for anyone who can't get past level 7.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
