On a serious note this is an example of the police being totaly out of touch with those they are supposed to protect and serve. Destroying someone's property because you can't read the serial numbers or because the stickers are not in place? If you find stolen property, return it. If you can't prove it's stolen, leave it.

Even if they can fully prove that these people were involved in street racing, crushing their cars seems a bit extreme. Street racing has been taking place for ever, and it will continue to. No matter how many cars they crush, it will still go on. And destroying someone's car that they have dumped lots of time, love and money into is just f****d up. Fine them, give them points or jail time, but don't destroy their property.
