Nope, no further confirmation required. I'll email out link and password to the PDF on July 3rd. It will contain information on starting point, route details, maps, lunch destination, contact numbers etc.

That's too bad Paul, hope you can join us next time out.

I've posted up the website for the event at www.manta.ca/cruise

    Roster is at: http://www.manta.ca/cruise/roster.html

For lunch reservations, the place is requiring that I give them an accurate headcount. If you are tentative for the run, please let me know so I can plan accordingly. I also need to know before this friday from the following people if they will be bringing a guest and joining us for lunch:

    carbon_00
    frankies_2
    bibendum400
    Paul (Eddy's friend)
marco0355 (I have you marked down as tentative already)

    Thank you.

Sorry to hear you can't make it Paul...

    Hey Arshad,

You can also add to the tentative list 2 others, Angelo and Frank.
Angelo has gone driving with us before, not sure if he will bring his BB or Dino.
I don't recall which car Frank is bringing, but I know it's a newer model F-car.
I have no idea as to how many guests they will bring or lunch plans.

My understanding is that they will log on and ad their names to this thread...or so my girl tells me!

Thanks for the heads up Steve. I won't add them to the online roster until I get confirmation from them. We're currently at around 45 cars with 3-4 guys who are tentative. Should be a great turnout!

I still can't believe Lucas is going to his cousin's wedding instead of coming out to hang with us! ;-)

I've never tried asking this but would anybody be willing to offer a ride? My name is Brian and I'm only 25. Obviously I don't have the means to afford a Ferrari yet (and it would be a poor use of money for a 25yr old anyway) but I have an immense appreciation for cars. I know I won't be able to sleep if I don't at least try asking around for such an opportunity, regardless of the outcome :)

Gents we did a pre-run of the route and it's going to be awesome!

Unfortunately we had some last minute lunch plan changes so the cost of the lunch has gone up a bit. It is going to be $50 per person, that includes a very nice 3 course meal (salad, entree, dessert), wine tour+tasting at the winery, taxes + tip all in. It does not include wine or other beverages.

They will be billing by the table, SO PLEASE BRING CASH as they cannot charge that many separate credit cards.

Due to the large group (80+ people), there will be a fixed menu. The entree is a grilled chicken with wild mushrooms and herbs. If anyone has an issue with this due to medical or religious reasons, please let me know as soon as possible so I can try and work with the chef to accommodate you.

I had to put down a large deposit (> $1000), so I need to have an accurate as possible headcount to avoid penalty. If you cannot make it to lunch for whatever reason, or if you are a tentative for the drive, please let me know latest by Tuesday!

    Thanks!

    Gents,

If any of you are on the fence about attending this cruise, and you miss it, you will regret it!

Arshad and I drove the route on Friday ... we mixed a bit of Ian's Proche Cruise with my Vette Cruise ... and then we explored a new route that Arshad had ploted out on Google Maps ... Should be great run ... with a lot of variety ... some highway, some back road twisties, and lots of elevation changes ... plus a bit of a cool run through a unique "structure" on the final leg of the cruise before returning to the GTA ... Should be a blast!

Lots of photo-op potential ... plus lunch at a fine location ... and the winery looks fantastic!

Just wanted to remind everyone that this will be a very spouse/gf friendly event, so bring your significant other out to enjoy the day! The drive will include a great mix of twisties, highway driving, back roads and some excellent scenery through the Niagara escarpment, wine country and of course through Niagara-on-the-lake and the Falls themselves. The group lunch will be at a quaint little french restaurant just outside of Niagara-on-the-lake and will include an excellent 3 course meal as well as a tour/tasting at the winery.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!

Gents, I was going to post up the route PDF tomorrow, but it's going to be delayed by a couple of days. I ran part of the route again today to verify some details and on the way back home some idiot rear ended us at a light. Unfortunately my 8 year old sustained some neck injuries, so please bear with me a couple of days as I have to deal with other things first...
