went today and it was FANTASTIC!!!!
The access of walking around the pits and up to the cars and people is unmatched in my experience. Uwe Meissner of Modena Motorsports did a great event. Met Marek - terrific person and enthusiast and ran into an FChatter from the old days, Remans. The guys from RedinFocus were there as well.
I met and spoke with Marcel Massini - very friendly, approachable and a class guy. The Ferrari community is lucky to have him.
Also met Jacky Ickx, Brian Redman and David Piper - all also very friendly.
Will post some pictures when I get home this weekend.
Will definitely try to come again.

Phew.. got back late yesterday, stopped over in Dusseldorf to see Meilenwerk there. What an event... shame we were so disorganized and didn't meet up :( But that's what happens when you plan at the last minute (lesson learned). As Russ said, wonderful event - access was amazing, mat and I had press passes, but apart from the fact we didn't pay I saw no difference in where press and public could get in (maybe someone can point out something I missed :]). Shame (I presume) weather scared away some potential treats that were to appear... still - had a great time. Will be making picture thread in Discussion forum soon.
