Damn.. that thing is huge, but not huge enough to eat me! :p

If I ever see one, I'd shoot it with a paintball gun.

Only problem is that THING is bigger then my feet! And it won't be fun cleaning your shoes after squashing that... I would rather run away.

Umm....I could be wrong but isn't that in some big glass fish tank? I think somebody put the mouse in there and fed it to the centipede and then started filming it. Poor mouse. Around the 3:50 mark or so you can start seeing the blood. Pretty gruesome :D

Let's put this centipede and a squirrel in a cage and take bets on the outcome.

My sister and brother-in-law used to live in St. Kitts they said the centipedes were huge there. They would come out of the fields when the sugarcane was harvested on the island. They said you never would stick your hand in a dark area without looking first.

I could not take that video. The noise that mouse makes is my only weakness. Idk why but i can't stand it.

Praying mantis vs mouse. I knew centipedes can grow huge, but never though a mantis would be big enough to hunt down a mouse. Never seen them bigger than a few cm...

That Praying Mantis one is interesting..they arent venomous nor do they have large teeth/fangs( cant remember the correct term but starts with a 'C') so did it break the mouses neck ?

    Amen!

I'll take snowstorms any day over the possibility of running into something like that in the backyard. Not ashamed to admit that I would probably soil myself if I saw something that hideous. :) ...and I am feeling definite compassion for mice.

Although, I think lighter fluid and a match would be more fun.

    Hate critters, period.
