an engine change for FA would put him starting 20th ! ! Massa on top with a minute to go - GO FELIPE ! ! ! !
Somebody refresh my memory, have we had the two Ferrari's on podium yet this year? Let's hope that Kimi isn't caught sleeping again on the start. Otherwise it looks like it can be a good weekend for the Tifosi(ron). Peter
If anyone from Ferrari was going to get pole it was Felipe. Way to go Massa. Massa - 1:15.034 Hamilton - 1:15.104 Kimi - 1:15.257 Kubica (great work after the big off in Canada) Fisi Heikki Heidfeld Trulli Rosberg Alonso - now most probably in 20th - more points for Lewis Start will be great! ! ! ! ! Carol
P4 Kubica P5 Fisichella P6 Kekki K P7 Heidfeld P8 Trulli P9 Rosberg P10 Alonso? New engine>to the back???
:} Any weekend that both Ferrari's are on podium is a good weekend. Kimi will do just fine, the car is working better, it is just that Massa is now the faster and better driver. As for Massa not being able to drive, and "miraculously" finding his way to the front, such miracles must happen often in F1 as I believe that Massa still holds the lead for number of poles so far this season. Not bad for not being able to, according to some, drive. I'd say he can drive quite well.
Way to go boys. Lewis may also be changing out his engine. This might be a 1 2 for Ferrari on Poll. We will probably know today. Alonso must already be in his straight jacket for his own protection. lol
I don't think LH will change engines. He had the sensor problem, but his engine seems fine. We can hope though Peter
Great job by the red cars, nice to finally see them back in the fight. Kimi better not be day dreaming at the start again, they need the 1-2. See you all tomorrow, have a good day. Mark
He did change his engine at the USGP though (w/no penalty). Gotta wonder where McLaren stumbled with the engines...or maybe they've been lucky this year (considering their past dubious history) In the interview, Hamilton isn't bubbling with that McLaren confidence as he has the last few races. I'm not convinced Kimi isn't a little heavier and may be able to get around him tomorrow. You can always tell when the drivers feel good about their car and when they don't. Don't listen to what they say, but instead read their expressions. LH looked concerned the entire interview session.
I don't think rain would be good. Hamilton is unproven in the rain, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt here because he so damn good at everything else. Kimi and Alonso are also very good when it rains. Massa in the past has had difficulty in the rain, although we haven't seen him lately. I'd say this weekend let's hope for the fewest variables possible, and that they can just get it done. Peter
Looks like it may rain very very hard also, not just a sprinkle. Of course, as far as mother nature is concerned, anything could happen. Good for Felipe, but why didn't Kimi try another quick lap? He definately passed the line before the checker - was the team just simply satisfied with P3? Conserve and maintain?
great great job by Phil. it's quite clear Kimi has improved too. i just hope he can get the jump on Lewis tomoro. we'll see what Fred is made of tomoro can he pull another Schumi-Brazilian GP performance? cheers Ron. Phil's the man..
