Get well soon Ron, the racing section isn't the same without you.
Ron, Just got out of the garage, was working on Elaine's car all night and went to check e-mails and saw Robert's message. Jumped to Ferrari Chat and was floored. Elaine and I are so glad you are "okay" but very sorry about the whole damn incident. We'll find you another Ferrari but you are too important to all of us my friend so worry we will. Get well soon, anxious to hear from you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Ron, In case you missed it, Ferrari was 1-2 yesterday! That should help you feel better. Also, at around 10:45 I passed a Ron Paul revolution home made sign on the way to Area 51 and I thought of you, probably close to the time of the incident. Get well, and let me know if I can do anything for ya! BT
I was so sad last night after learning of this incident. I am so thankful that things weren't worse. It's really amazing how things can change in a blink of an eye. Cherish every second!! Ron, my thoughts and prayers go out to you.......... And, you KNOW that if you need anything, I am just a phone call away!!!
Ron- I just saw Roberts email. Glad to hear that you are doing well. My dad and I wish you a speedy recovery!!!! Matt & John
Ron, best wishes for a speedy recovery. Caught the news flash yesterday and called immediately. I had a very sick feeling when you didn't answer. Please let me know if there is anything you need. Best, Will

Hope you are back home in comfortable surroundings real soon Ron! If there is a silver lining to this story, in the car was the safest place for you under the circumstances. Let us know when you are ready to receive visitors. Martin & Gaby, we appreciate all of your help with Ron!! KevFla
The first person from this community I met was Ron at the beginning of the "Toys for Tots" run last year. Even though he was extremely busy at the time, with cars arriving and things to do, he was extremely polite and friendly. In subsequent activities, whenever I ran into him he has been one of the friendliest persons in this group, even to someone like me, who only shows up occasionally when work and family allow. Fact is, when I heard of the accident early this morning I was quite worried that he could have been badly injured; reading through the thread I am extremely glad and relieved that he is doing well. Let me be the first (of many, I'm sure) to offer a ride for this year's Toy (for tots) run if Ron hasn't replaced his beautiful Boxer by that time.
[ This is Gaby typing for Ron...his fingers a little bit toasty ] THANK YOU ALL for your kindness, I am overwhelmed. Returning from Coral Gables Sunday morning, I thought I felt a rear tire going low, so I pulled over on the medium on I-95. Did a quick walk around the car but everything was fine. I got back in the car, got it in gear looking in the mirror .and then I feel I huge impact! Then all I see is 5 and 6 tall flames all around the car. I could not get out of the drivers door. At this point I was not thinking just responding. I climbed over the console, I grabbed the passenger door handle, which it was extremely hot, pushed the door open. All I could see is flames and feel the extreme heat. I decided at this point that I had no choice but to get out. After I got out of the car on my knees, a man picked me from under my arms and dragged me away from the car. I remember looking back and seeing the flames; seemed like everything happened very quickly. A woman stopped, dressed on a doctors uniform to see how I was. I remember her saying that she was a gynecologist (PS she was very attractive so please if you are reading this PM me your phone number). Paramedics arrived in less than 5 minutes. They kept me in the ambulance doing preliminary test. I just remember being in a lot of pain and smelling flesh. As a result I have 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my right ankle and 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my wrist to just below my elbow. I also have first degree burns on my scalp and my face. All I can say is that I am very thankful to even be alive. I know that another 10 seconds and I would have been toast. The boxer is totaled. Apparently a BMW and a Miata aquaplaned; hit each other, and then the BMW ran into me at 60-70 mph. Looks like I will be out of commission for 2 to 3 months. At this point in time I dont feel up for visitors, I am in a lot of pain and need to rest. They started physical therapy today. Once again, I APPRECIATE ALL YOUR COMMENTS AND SUPPORT. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! Ron
yea sure thing, Ron was the 1st fcar guy I met and I was so happy when he and BT came out out to a lunch meet I planed.
