    Hello All,

I was thinking about purchasing an SD2.......
This would be to preclude myself from having to drive/ship my Enzo & 360 to the nearest dealership for diagnostics. It would be nice to have the ability to check clutch wear on the Enzo, etc..

Are these devices somewhat user friendly?

    Is there an alternative tester?

    TIA, Joe

The SD-2 is similar to most OBD-II scanners. It is light years ahead of the joke called the SD-1.The SD-2 uses a common OBD-II plug located under the drivers side dash like other cars. The SD-1 has individual plugs located at or near each individual ECU which you have to locate and then run wires and plugs to.It needs a separate power source,a laptop computer and then the SD-1 box.So you have to run all of these wires and find places to set the laptop and box.It looks like a Rube Goldberg device and does not instill confidence in customers as they watch. It is a truly Mickey Mouse setup and count your blessings for the SD-2.
