hi all! It's my first thread on FChat. Just wanna share some pics I got in this amazing weekend. I didn't get the admission to access into the paddock, so just photoed these from the stand. Well the FXXs are so impressive, the figure of the car is simplely beautiful, enigine sound is very loud and sexy, even could be heard clearly some miles away from the circuit.....astonishing!!! R.Ferri Competizione I have seen this car in many other threads on Fchat, anyone know more infos about this one? Belongs to a German??? or American? And would the race number on car change in different race? Image Unavailable, Please Login
FXX car number 8 will have the same number on it all the time , its owned by Lorne Leibel/Cody Leibel from CDN , this very FXX was scheduled to appear at silverstone in june but unfortunately they couldnt make it , we still had 8 FXX racing though . great pics by the way , Andy.
That's not quite right. Every car has a small sticker on the windschield of the events they attended. At the Ferrari Racing Days at the Nürburgring 2006 were 2 cars with #7. The original #7 had oil pressure problems and was replaced by another one that was given also #7. So you can't always go after the numbers. The windshield stickers (and the VIN) are better. Martin
I totally agree!! Thanks DoraFerrari for your pics and welcome. What kind of camera and setup did you use? Bill
All FXX made the "big travel" to go to Shanghai. Regrettably none live in this part of the world. 60th celebration was our big chance to see FXX on our home turf. Like a Stones concert - a few of the musicians are a bit long in the tooth but you just can't miss it because the show is fantastic
Glad that friends here like the pics. seems the owner of blue tdf FXX replied...hoho. in 6.30 afternoon ,when driver(RTB??) launch the car, the engine sound heavily scared a girl stand aside, haha very funny scene.
thx at first I use Canon G5 that day, full zoom(probably 140mm transfer to 135 SLR), need to chase the car to catch the scene, cuz FXXs are really fast. for second pic I use P mode , so car no.22 looks very sharp but less speed movement. other pics by 1/160 s F8.0 as the noon shine didn't allow me use a slower shutter speed. but still enough to make the pic looks in speed....lucky all pics have been adujsted in PS, the original looks a bit soft.
So now it's clear , the number has the possibility to be changed in different event. more question , how do they transport their FXXs ? by air or by ship?
this should give you a good idea http://youtube.com/watch?v=vc1T4nYmMKE As should this http://youtube.com/watch?v=I-HlrcP6Qg4&mode=related&search=
