Yeah. Tom and I saw that fine upstanding citizen as well. A loud car does not equal speeding, though some cars were insanely loud yesterday!
Is one good quality thread not better than a bunch of good threads that may get lost & confuse things? Ball breaker... Arshad, you are a master at this. Glad it turned out great. Now where is Lucas with the pics!?
Something about Rob racing at Steelback indy and Arshads crusie just doesnt seem like merge material to me...lol
Great job on the route and planing Mark and Arshad. Jamie, after getting us back to where we original took the wrong turn, we went by Linconcon parkway. We doubled back after realizing it and caught up to everybody at the stage end when they were just leaving. Here are the photos I took from the day. http://s148.photobucket.com/albums/s34/jumper5836/GTG/Exotics%20Cruise%20Jul07/?action=view&slideshow=true
Well guys ... I had a great time after I caught up with everyone! LOL My battery decided it did not want to participate in the day's events ... so it was Bill Smook to the rescue ... and he got me on my way ... met up with part of the group at the Community Center / Arena ... just in time to get a bunch of cell calls asking for directions! Seemed a few guys were not following Arshad's directions! I think on these cruises, a co-pilot should be mandatory ... with map, directions and radio in hand! LOL I should get my pictures up shortly ... already starting to think about a fall cruise! Mark Thanks to Arshad for a great day! and Bill for saving my day!

LOLL, now I figured out what you are talking about. I merged that by accident. I wasnt supposed to merge Rob's thread. Just noticed now. Oh and Steve, Thomas I must correct you guys...the worst merger in History was when Rick FUSED the old (and very HUGE) Montreal thread into the Toronto thread Rob, I am truly sorry about your thread. And congrats by the way!
Gents, For future events, rather than use PM, I would like to put all interested parties on a mailing list. The current method is error prone, and very time consuming for me. It also becomes very difficult if there are any last minute notices (eg. cancellation due to rain). I will use the list to send out 3 emails per cruise (one spring/summer, one in the fall): 1) Announcing the event 2) Route details once they are finalized 3) Followup email with links to photos/videos If you were part of this cruise, or would like to join us for our fall cruise, please PM me an email address that you check semi-regularly. I will continue to post a notification on the forum, but all future contact will be done through email. I know some people may be a bit concerned about privacy, but I will not be disclosing the list to anyone else (including other participants), and it will not be used for any other purpose. It WILL make my life a lot easier, so I'd like to move to that model. If my PM mbox is full, please try again a few hours later as I will be clearing it out regularly. Thanks!
Ahh...now I see what happened...that's just great...an old man taking down your license plates...no worries though...as far as I know...all you get is a letter in the mail. I guess there are lots of people out there who don't know how to mind their own business. I can understand someone calling me in if I was driving totally recklessly...but the old man at the stop sign? I think they're going to make owning a sports car a crime soon at the rate the police are going. Terrible!! All it takes is one pissed of old man with nothing better to do on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. Jeez.....
Here are links to a few vid's from the cruise ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csPE1lz_pKk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKqYobJup3Y http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70ytmpQJqFY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0aPjMe4D4k
Another tunnel video (sorry about the audio, no wind-cut on the camera!). It sounded UNBELIEVABLE! The tunnel is almost 1km long and I had the 430 and 360 in front and to the side as we all hammered it... it was CRAAAAAZY!!! http://www.youtube.com/v/4gtvh26EYlI
Maybe you guys woke him up from his afternoon nap? Whether in a car, or motorcycle, the 'small towns folk' hate anything that disturbs their peace. IMO, its tough **** for them....these are PUBLIC roads and every vehicle deserves to use them! I guess they don't mind the sound of big farm tractors and lawnmowers driving thru their town then?? Noise is a common problem no matter where you live in Ontario....get used to it!
Hey Guys, Here are some of the sample pictures from the cruise. I will be making CD's again for anyone interested, they will be $50 and have over 700 high res watermark free pictures from the event. There are multiple pictures of EVERY car on the cruise. Many thanks again to Arshad and Mark for all their dedication to make the event happen. Nice to see everyone out again on a beautiful day! Thanks again to Scott for the amazing surprise drive of the F430 around the parking lot! If anyone is interested in a CD please PM, email (), or call (905 730-4359) me. Enjoy the pictures! http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/album637 Lucas Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The burnout in person was even crazier, new meaning to "smoke em if you got em". I was also impressed by Lucas' "Criss Angel" impression. Seems like every few corners there he was appearing out of nowhere when it felt like I had just passed him a few minutes before. P.S. You know i'm in for a CD Lucas, PM sent.
