LOL. Personally I personally know or have performed with about 3/4 of the artists mentioned in this thread. RMX
Man don't even get me started hahaha. Mid 90's Dance music is the best! I would need to go on my other computer to give you some good stuff.
It's great to see I'm not the only one listening to trance in the car, the best is racing through the freeways and canyons at sunset with the music pounding and the engine reving at 8,500rpms (what a rush).
Damn that's nice! Brings back a few memories too. I met my ex in Holland and her aunt was part of the "in crowd" in Amsterdam. By association that often put me in the middle of the House/Techno/Trance music and club scene (1985-1999). Her brother DJed at the IT Club in the early '90s and he'd give us the latest clubmix CDs. It's been awhile and now I wouldn't know what to buy or download. Funny, but the only thing I miss about her, literally, is the music.
Same here Ed. I usually have my Sirius radio tuned to Area 33 (TRANCE & PROGRESSIVE HOUSE). Can't quite comment on the rush because I'm usually pulling a trailer and going 55! But the music's still great.
I am going to be in Ibiza in two weeks, so I will keep my ears open for hot tracks. I am feeling Guetta's Love is Gone remix right now.
You're going to find a few of the clubs you're used to partying in have been closed down. There was a rash of closures after a year-long investigation of drug activity by Spain's government. Trance isn't really the new, hot style these days, at least not in the US. That honor falls to electro house now (check out Starkillerz, King Unique, etc). Trance's golden years were that 95-00 period. RMX
