Home cooked food. Nothing like your mum's ;)

I was cruising back slowly from Rara's birthday bash & realised this fastcar thing is really addictive & we're all terrible addicts. Just 2yrs ago I was in an F348 (still a lovely classic), Rara was with his F355spider (6 months ago!) & Tiong his Beemer?

On the road again......is it by Kenny Rogers?

All your cars are totally unrecognisable from the first time I met you guys, and that was less than a year ago! I've heard of alcohol addiction, sex addiction, blah blah blah but car addiction? You guys scare me...

    That would be Willie Nelson.

Maybe not so much of another convoy drive, but a chance for all of us to get to know each other and to check out each other's cars. Too bad some of us had to leave early last Sunday, plus our mood was somewhat dampened by Tiong's horse falling sick. Maybe Jon can do an all-round introduction of everyone the next time?

But our rara need to do a 1000km run-in oh well, maybe he can do that on his own or he doesn't follow the rules!

Erm yuenSM didn't show up so yah maybe we do a late night tea @ your place. Just about ten of us or so should be good enough. And there's this Douglas who went MIA again....

Are there more than two Superleggeras on Singapore roads now? There is a beautiful grey one as we all know and also an orange one. Currently these are the only two I know of. ;)

Question, is there a need for the 1000k run in period? I thot that is a historical thing as most of the exotic cars are taken for long test runs before shipping. I know that all new ferraris r taken for test runs bedore delivery. I cld hv the wrong impression.

the engine is already ran in but the suspension, tires, etc still needs the run in.

Why then is there a need to keep the revs low? Most time when people say run in they speak about engine and not about the rest of the machinical parts. Not sure about the suspension. But the tires i understand the need to b scrubbed

Anyway i think it generally good practice to go easy on the 1st few thousand. Its a good habit just the same.

Yes definately a good habit not to do so. But it does help the economy grow if you just go out and buy another one. Quite steady in my opinion.
