No gangs of people team up one one or two and if a Mod is in with the majority the slamming and bashing continue.

I was just pointing out it happens, this is a smaller case and the full blown 20 page thread didn't happen.

I don't think posting links to older threads in necessary though.

 

Sorry but that didn't happen in my case Rob. My character was attacked, I was threatened, and on and on. I reported it to the mods and so did 5 other members.
No action was taken.

 

What am I at now? EDIT: 9,469. Good to know.

Once your pulse gets down below 200 bpm, take a minute and read through the dialogue that you were posting. It was exactly what I called it, time we'll never get back. Nothing more and nothing less. It certainly wasn't a verbal attack on you and it didn't involve any name-calling on my part.

While you're busy demanding apologies, you might consider starting with one of your own (ego permitting and all...).

You have incredible knowledge of the Ferrari and I have to admit that you are a welcome addition to FChat. That said you were so off base with this that you are putting the ass in ass hole.

You attack the mod for doing his job, don’t apologize when the requester and thread starter told you he requested the move, and in an act of utter childishness, say you will leave if your "demands" are not met. What sort of 14 year old says that? "I am going to take my toys and go away because my feelings were hurt by the big bad mod.

You gotta learn to ignore it and move on, if there is somebody you don't care for, you simply look past their postings, I do it all the time on a few other websites.

That is what the 'ignore' list is for, simply add the person to it, and roll on.

Are you suggesting I was "in with the crowd" on this one? Or that I've jumped on the bandwagon in other threads and then abused my mod privledges in some way?

I don't think that's the case, and I'm sure you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere on Fchat where I've used the mod console to further a personal agenda.

I didn't mention you at all. If you want you can search a few threads, I can give you a few titles and you can see what I mean.

Also the "cards" DrStranglove displays violate FChat rules and no one says a word.

Calling someone an ******* in cap locks, telling them to shut the f uck up and to go the f uck away and then calling them a ***** is a violation of the rules and I've seen people banned for that.

If he was new and had 5 posts, he would be banned for a day or three and called a troll. Others have been for saying the exact same things.

Why isn't any action taken against DrStranglove? Why aren't his cards at least removed from the site? I don't have a problem with him at all but there is about 19 sets of rules and at any one time, different rules are being applied to different people.

It makes the who mod issue cheesy and laughable. Either use the same fist across the board or just stop pretending that Moderator actions have nothing to do with popularity and friendship. That's all. That would even the tempers and everyone would know where the line in the sand was.

I think a real difference is in how you use it. Being insulting for no good reason, or just typing the word **** for fcuks sake is also pretty dumb. Going after scammers, blowhards, and other trolls is quite different.

 

I guess you haven't noticed the kind of "heat" the Dr is packin'.

I suggest you drop to your knees, face Mecca (that's the general direction he's in) and beg for forgiveness.

If you're lucky, maybe he'll personalize one of those fifties for the next time he needs to kill someone for their own good.

I congratulate you for being well reasoned and patently, extremely logical. I have added a couple of the "folks" to the ignore list and fell so much better now.
