    I am looking for a metal detector. I have a in ground sprinkler system and several of the sprinkler spouts (where I would plug in a hose) have been lost (covered up with grass). So I am looking for a metal detector so I can go out and search for the. I do an ebay search and get over 1100 hits. Any suggestions? A good used one should be OK also.

    I lost my wedding ring several years ago on a golf course and bought a basic metal detector at Wal-Mart. I don't remember the make or model, but I can check it out when I get home tonight if you're interested. It wasn't anything fancy, but it did the trick just fine. Surely something like this would meet your needs.
