DFW GTG Sat Aug 11, West of Ft Worth

Howdy Pardners. I've got permission from the little missus to have a visit. I'm about 20 miles west of Ft Worth off I-20. I'd like to invite a few hundred of my closest buddies to join me. I'm planning to have some pilot friends, and hopefully some Porsche friends, maybe some Ferrari friends over for a gab-fest/beer-fest/show-shine/swim/BBQ at my extablishment out west of Ft Worth.

Families wecome, any model okay. If you're gonna be in the general area that weekend, show up and meet the gang. RSVP would be nice, but not required.

I had an inquiry about the safety for exotics. I live on a hill, overlooking lake Meeker, on a cul-de-sac, in a very safe neighborhood. Very few cars pass by, and if needed, I could close the street before my house, and only let residents in. Safe, very safe.

2-ish. We're getting a good turnout from the DFW groups, but how about outside the metro? Any long distance takers?

 

Gratuitious bump. three weeks! We've got some interest from the Lamborghini crowd, there may be a few vintage one's plus mine.

As for longer distance, I was thinking El Paso is a good haul, so's Amarillo. Interesting tidbit - LA CA is closer to El Paso than Beaumont TX is.

Howdy again folks, fun time is just around the corner. Should have a nice breeze to go with our 100* day. I got brisket comin, turkey, rolls, salty snacks, and fixins. If anyone wants to bring a potato/mac/bean salad, that'd be great. if not we'll struggle through. Got my shade up(but it's kinda flappy), and got most of the frogs outa the pool. Several of my vintage cars are actually running, so I'll have a few on display, complete with warts!

exit Aledo rd, go left
Cross RR track and turn right
about 2.5 miles, to Lakeview on brick facade left
up little hill go left, and left again on Royal Oak.
