    Don't pop up on threads telling people that your dad is going to buy their car (when he isn't), or telling us your dad just bought a car (that he didn't), or that your dad has a car (that he doesn't). It makes your dad look bad, makes you look bad, and worst of all wastes other peoples' precious time. The lying got you hammered twice, and will get you banned again if you start.

    You don't have to try that hard here. Just relax, read a LOT more than you speak, and only post when you have something constructive to add to the conversation. Remember, YOU are the one joining the community, not your dad. We don't want to hear about your dad. We want to hear about you.

    Welcome back....for as long as you're here :)

    Oh, and use SPELL CHECK..

    Being an out of control bragging 14 year old is not going to win you friends, or keep you here.

    Being a respectful, circumspect 14 year old MIGHT just get you to the end of the week.

    1. Stop living vicariously through your father. When you're about to write a post (or any sentence, phrase, psalm, limerick or proverb) that begins with: "my dad....", STOP!!!

    2. Refrain from any pompous rhetoric, insulting or bragging.

    3. Modify your profile so that it is accurate. DO NOT under "cars owned or previous cars owned" list any cars that your mom and dad own. YOU DO NOT OWN THESE CARS.....your PARENTS own them. List the cars that YOU own(ed). For futher clarification, please refer to point number 1.

    It is great that you've asked the question.

    Try not to use the "p-word" in posts (5 letters long, rhymes with "trick").

    Your profile mentions "student", what level BTW?

    Also, you might want to think about using a spell checker (I think Firefox has one built-in now), e.g. in your profile "amature" should be spelled "amateur". Misspelled words won't get you banned but helps with the overall effectiveness of your posts.

    It's actually pretty easy to do here.

    Perma ban:

    Step 1. Get a second user ID here
    Step 2. Repeat step one until a mod notices
    Step 3. Banned for life

    Temp Ban:

    Step 1. Learn how to circumvent the filters here
    Step 2. Post any of these words **** ******* ***** **** ******
    Step 3. Hit the "!" on yourself and wait for the ban.

    That should do it for you.
